Dear MBU players & parents -

Announcing our new Co-Directors

We are thrilled to announce that effective August 14, 2025, Brooke Higgins and Morgan Tucker have been appointed co-directors of the MBU Water Polo Foundation.

Coach Higgins and Coach Tucker have coached successfully at the college, high school, and youth levels. They are outstanding developing players of all ages and ability levels and know the local community well. Equally as impressive is their character, leadership qualities, and teaching abilities. As we move into our 7th year as an organization, Brooke and Morgan are exactly the right people to continue our mission of providing recreational and competitive water polo opportunities to Monterey County families. Please join me in congratulating Brooke and Morgan as our new co-directors!

Chipotle Fundraiser

Please join us this Sunday, August 17, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., for our Chipotle Fundraiser. The

restaurant address is 500 Del Monte Ctr Ste 30, Monterey, CA 93940. You can also order online using the Chipotle app or at Chipotle.com. When ordering online for pick up, use the code F8LKAWN.

At the event be sure to take a picture and tag MBU to be entered in a raffle for a $50 discount on your next session registration. Please help us in spreading the word about this fun and important fundraising event!

Fall Season

Fall youth water polo for U10, U12, & U14 boys & girls, is just around the corner. The fall season runs September 1-October 31. Returning players will practice twice weekly (Wednesday & Sunday) and new players will practice once weekly (Sunday). Additional details will be shared shortly and registration will go live next week. We have a great fall season planned and are looking forward to seeing many of you back in the pool shortly!
