Founded in 2018, the MBU Water Polo Foundation is a USA Water Polo–registered club (#34089) and a 501(c)(3) organization serving athletes and families throughout Monterey County and surrounding communities.

Our mission is to provide a positive, development-centered water polo experience that prioritizes fundamental skill development, balanced competition, and long-term athletic growth. We support a wide range of student-athletes – from beginners to experienced high school players – through age- and stage-appropriate training that fosters individual progress and meaningful team contribution.

Monterey Bay United is committed to sustainable participation, balanced competition, and accessibility within our local and regional community. Through experienced coaching, positive reinforcement, and intentional program design, we strive to help student-athletes develop strong technical foundations while cultivating character traits that extend beyond the pool, including commitment, discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.
