BROOKE HIGGINS

Brooke Higgins has been involved in the sport of water polo since 1987. A standout player in high school at the Stevenson School, Brooke went on to play at Boston College where he started all four years and served as captain his senior year. After college, he moved to Chicago, IL and played for various club teams. His next stop was Santiago, Chile where he represented Club Providencia in tournaments around Chile and Argentina over a span of four years.
Upon returning to the United States in 2002, Brooke enrolled at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and also began his coaching career at his alma mater, the Stevenson School. In 2004, Brooke earned his MBA from M.I.I.S. while simultaneously launching CROSSWALK Test Prep & Tutoring, a company that continues to serve the Monterey Bay Area and beyond. After stints in the corporate world in marketing and operations for financial services, food service and educational supplies, Brooke landed back at the Stevenson School full time in 2010.
At Stevenson, Brooke wears several hats: he is the World Language Department Chair, Spanish teacher, College Counselor and Head Boys Water Polo Coach. In 2022, Brooke led the Stevenson Pirates to an undefeated league season, a PCAL League Championship and a #1 seed in the CCS Division II championship tournament.
When Brooke is not coaching, he enjoys playing water polo with the local master’s program, Otter Bay Water Polo. Brooke is married with two children and lives in Marina, CA.
