Jim Fannin began his water polo journey while playing water polo at Pinole Valley High School where he played for four years. After discovering the sport as an eighth grader he has been involved with it in one way or another ever since. Arriving at Stevenson in 1999 he began coaching the boy's team while also sowing the seeds for what would become the girls program in 2003. He currently serves as the head coach for the Sevenson Girls water polo team after taking over the program in 2018. Prior to this he lead the boys teams for 18 years from 1999-2017. Along the way his teams have achieved several league titles and CCS berths.
